Who is Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halise Aydemir?
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Halise Aydemir was born in 1981 in Ankara, Turkey. She completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in Ankara. In 2004, she graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry.
She earned her PhD and specialty in orthodontics from Ankara University, Department of Orthodontics, in 2009. Her doctoral thesis focused on the changes in airway dimensions before and after orthognathic surgery in patients she personally treated. This study was later published on international platforms, contributing to global academic literature.
Following her specialization, she continued her clinical and academic work with a focus on orthognathic surgery, cleft lip and palate, various syndromes, Class II and Class III malocclusions, open bite, and deep bite cases. In recognition of her contributions, she was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2018.
In September 2018, she opened her private orthodontic clinic in Izmir, where she continues to provide expert care as an academic specialist in the field of orthodontics.

We met Dr. Halise after extensive research. We went to many doctors, but they recommended jaw surgery for my 15-year-old daughter.
